Both passive and active technologies are used in our designs to work together for maximum protection. Active safety refers to everything designed to help prevent an accident from happening while passive safety refers to all design measures that help protect the machine operator against injury or help reduce the severity of injuries in the event of an accident.
Machines designed and built by both divisions of The RDI Group meet international as well as USA standards. Machines built to the US standards are built in compliance to ANSI, IEEE, NEMA and UL standards. Machines built for use outside of the US are built to comply with CE and IEC standards.
