Splice Tables
Depending on your production needs Reichel & Drews offers two types of splice tables.
The manual splice table is a low cost solution for splicing various types of reinforcement mat from fiberglass to polyester. Splices are made manually using a simple hand held cutoff knife, hot melt tape or clay tape and a heated iron.
For greater reliability and consistency of splices our semi-automatic splice table is recommended. The semi-automatic splice table utilizes an adjustable timer set heating plate element that evenly and consistently heats the hot melt tape resulting in a strong repeatable splice.
