Reichel & Drews and Rummer Systems Engineering Establish Joint Venture
Reichel & Drews and Rümmer System Engineering launch joint venture to expand machinery offering for roofing and waterproofing manufacturers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa
Chicago, IL, August 2007 - Reichel & Drews, a global leader in roofing and waterproofing manufacturing machinery, announces its joint venture with Rümmer System Engineering GmbH. The new joint venture organization to be known as Rümmer Reichel & Drews (RR&D) will be based at Rümmer’s headquarters in Baunach, Germany. With a shared vision of innovation, quality and superior customer service both companies have come together with a common goal of providing bitumen roofing manufacturers with state-of-the-art technology, production equipment and control systems.
The experience of the two partners enhances the new organization’s ability to provide outsourced engineering and process solutions to a broader range of customers. By combining the technologies, engineering and manufacturing resources of both companies, RR&D will provide the European, Middle Eastern and African markets with innovative production systems and machinery for the manufacture of bitumen roofing and waterproofing products. RR&D will also offer expanded equipment optimization, service and parts support for existing production facilities in this market.
