VP of Sales – Reichel and Drews

Tom Matthey is Vice President of Sales for Reichel & Drews (a company of The RDI Group).  Reichel & Drews is a leading global supplier of automated production systems for the manufacturing of asphalt shingles and bitumen waterproofing membranes.  Tom joined The RDI Group in 2011 as Parts & Service Manager.  Shortly afterwards, Tom was promoted to Vice President of Sales.

Tom was previously employed by Black & Decker (now Stanley Black & Decker) in the service management arena.  During his tenure with Black & Decker, he was responsible for numerous after-the- sale service programs including the service sales and maintenance programs for the launch of DeWalt power tools.  The next step in Tom’s career was spent with Wagner’s Industrial Solutions Group where he was responsible not only for the day-to-day operation of the customer service department; he developed and implemented parts programs, field service audits and preventive maintenance programs.  Additionally, Tom is a certified industry teacher and speaker.

Tom graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Marketing and Administration.
