Shankaran Shanmugabaskaran is Executive Vice President of Sales for RDI Enclosures & Systems and RDI Laser Blanking Systems. He is also the Chief Information Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for The RDI Group.

Mr. Shanmugabaskaran has held various roles at The RDI Group since joining in 2010. He directed three integral departments: Information Technology, Business Process, and Marketing. Mr. Shanmugabaskaran brings an understanding of how to integrate marketing and technology in developing global marketing strategies, implementing new technologies and aligning business processes with company purpose and core values. His strategic vision connects cutting-edge innovation to the customer; driving revenue-producing interactions by capturing customer insights, anticipating needs, streamlining processes and ensuring seamless transactions.

He has over ten years of information technology experience in the private sector relating to enterprise applications, automotive manufacturing, and healthcare/medical institution. Prior to joining The RDI Group, Mr. Shanmugabaskaran was Manager of Information Technology for GeoAnalytics, where he led the successful deployments of cloud-based spatial data analysis, predictive analytics, and business intelligence platforms.

Mr. Shanmugabaskaran holds a BS in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a Certified Scrum Master and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
